++ The temporary leader of the PRD, Guadalupe Acosta Naranjo, the Chair of the PAN party Germán Martínez, and the Secretary General of the PRI Jesús Murillo, met to talk about Energy reform. It is believed that they will meet next week to analyze the possibility of a new proposal.
++ Manuel Camacho Solís, coordinator of the energy reform consultations announced that Carlos Monsivais, Guadalupe Loaeza, Elena Poniatowska and Lorenzo Meyer, among others, will be part of a citizen committee that will help organize and supervise the consultation process. The technical committee actual presented the two questions that willl be asked, questions developed by professors at the UNAM, Politécnico and UAM. The consultation will take place on July 27th. The founder of the PRD, Cuauhtémoc Cárdenas, commented that he believed that the questions presented are adequate.
++ PRI congressman Enrique Benítez, warned that if the Director of the Cisen, Guillermo Valdés, continues accusing legislators of having links with drug trafficking organizations without any proof, this could jeopardize the energy reform bill presented by the President.
