The registration of candidates will take place up to January 18 and as of January 19 till February 17 the campaign to elect its national leader will take place. A police commander in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon has been killed on the job. Eleazar Ruiz Vargas, 50, was killed while responding to a report of a robbery. His partner, Rodolfo Sonora, a police agent, was wounded.
