The 22nd Section of the Union of Teachers will meet this Saturday to define when teachers will go back to school – it will either be the 23, 25 or 30th of October. Carlos Abascal, the Secretary of the Interior, said that the conflict in Oaxaca has not been resolved yet and made called on all parties involved to contribute towards the re-establishment of order and security in Oaxaca. The Governor of Oaxaca, Ulises Ruiz, assured that he will recuperate the City of Oaxaca. He gave the APPO and the teachers a sort of ultimatum a so-called "plazo mínimo¨ for them to free up streets in a voluntary fashion, and contrary to that he didn’t rule out the use of force. (Ulises really does not know when to shut-up. It seems as if he does not want the crisis to end… Mmmmm) Members of the 22nd Section of the Union of Teachers and the APPO who are camping outside the Senate rejected Enrique Rueda Pacheco´s proposal of going back to school on October 30th.
