The President of the Federal Electoral Tribunal, Leonel Castillo, confirmed the existence of a trust of more than 20 million pesos that will go towards paying the retirement for six of the Tribunal’s judges. This was announced after the Tribunal decided to return some 30 million pesos to the Ministry of Finance (Hacienda) of the original monies allotted to this retirement fund.
